Another beautiful wedding featured on Confetti.co.uk, see the article here ➢

Nadine & Rob’s Deer Park wedding was held at the stunning Country House Hotel. An 18th Century Georgian mansion in Devon. I am proud to say this wedding was recently featured in confetti’s real wedding section.

The weather forecast was not looking good and we had a few showers. But the sun made an appearance for most of the day and it turned out to a beautiful day.

We arrived at the venue a little early and had a walk around taking some photographs of the building and grounds.

Deer Park is a fantastic wedding venue and a treat to be the wedding photographers at.

The house is set in 80 acres of glorious grounds”.

There unique features, from the “beautiful boutique hotel bedrooms and pretty Italian garden and the love swing tucked away in the grounds.

It is late March and there are plenty of beautiful daffodils out in full bloom.

This adds an optimistic flavour of spring and the coming summer. I spent some time with Nadine and her bridesmaids as they prepared for the wedding.

At the same time, Lloyd was with Rob and his groomsmen as they greeted their guests waiting for the service to start.

Nadine looked stunning and Robs face said it all as his bride entered the hall. It was all he could do to hold the tears back when he saw her enter the room. But he managed to hold it together, just.

After the wedding ceremony, we all moved out into the garden for drinks and a chance to congratulate the newly married couple.

The marquee was being set up for the wedding breakfast and reception.

We used this time to photograph some candid portraits of the couple and their guests, run through the traditional formal group shots.

Then took the bride and groom off for a little time to catch their breath and a photoshoot among the daffodils.

The father of the bride gave a fantastic and very animated speech and made for some fun photography.

This wedding also gave me a first in wedding photography, because the day wedding been running late all day we had not been able to fit in the confetti walk photographs. Nadine asked if we could do them……  In the garden? In the dark?………

I like a challenge so quickly set up some lights, took a few practice shots and we went for it. I was delighted with the results we got.

It was a fantastic day, a lovely couple, friendly fun guests a beautiful venue. A great reminder of why I love my job so very much.

Nadine & Rob, thank you for choosing us as your wedding photographers. We wish you a long and happy life together x.
