The Clifton Pavilion at Bristol Zoo Gardens is a truly spectacular setting for a wedding celebration. The grand venue is as elegant as it is unique, perfect for a truly memorable occasion for you and your guests.

The stunning purpose-built Pavilion’s impressive architecture reflects the style of the 1920s. The venue’s unique, beautifully decorated rooms boast high ceilings and exquisite chandeliers, creating a romantic ambience.

The balcony overlooks the gorgeous grounds and graceful flamingos, a view that complements the elegant setting perfectly.

The venue is available for exclusive use for you and up to 120 guests for your ceremony and reception. You can also enjoy complimentary access to the beautiful zoo gardens, which provide a unique setting for your treasured wedding photographs.

From your very first enquiry through to the big day itself, our excellent events team will be available to support you at every stage.

From choosing your perfect menu, wine and flowers to finding your ideal entertainer and organising your table plan, the dedicated team will be on hand to help with every decision.

Our menus are created by our excellent head chef using the finest, fresh and locally sourced ingredients. We can deliver an eclectic selection of seasonal menus for an unforgettable dining experience.

You may have read recently that Bristol Zoo is due to close towards the end of 2022, please be assured that this will not affect your wedding plans for 2022 in any way. There will be no immediate change as the zoo will ensure that visitors and guests are able to fully enjoy the Zoo right up until the very last day the zoo is open.

The plan is to retain the zoo itself for approximately 12 months after it is closed to the public as it will take some time to transfer animals to their new homes. This will take place largely in 2023 after the zoo has closed so we look forward to welcoming as many weddings as we can up until late 2022, so please do get in touch with the team to book your wedding in the beautifully elegant Clifton Pavilion.
