My last wedding of 2019 and what a lovely way to end this year’s wedding season.
One of my favourite wedding venues in the northwest, Mottram Hall and a lovely couple. I had split my normal winter escape this year to fit this last wedding in and I was so glad I had.

Lizzie & Michael.
Both the bride and groom had stayed at Mottram Hall the night before so it was easy to flick between the two.
Michael had been a little ill the day before but wasn’t going to let that get in the way of his big day.
There was a lovely little buzz about the bridal party as they prepared for the wedding and Lizzie was taking it all in her stride and enjoying her morning.

The ever-younger Alison at Lasting Memories had, as always done an amazing job making the venue shine to it’s full potential.
From the many glass vases and candles to the rose petals and decorative chair covers every detail was perfectly arranged.
Mottram Hall is a beautiful blank canvas that Alison always brings to life with her unique touch.
Wedding Hair and MakeUp.
Both Kirsty and Lisa looked after the girls on the wedding morning. Styling hair and giving the bride, her bridesmaids and the mothers a lovely makeover.
The room was filled with lovely details from Lizzie’s beautiful wedding dress and accessories to the custom dressing gowns all the girls had for that morning.
Groom and Groomsmen.
What can I say, the guys are the guys and I always enjoy the contrast in preparation between the bridal party and the groom’s party.
The guys get cleaned up and throw their suits on and they’re basically done.
There is almost always a little confused about how to attach their buttonholes but at every wedding venue there is always somebody on-hand to help out and today it was Alison.
Mottram Hall Wedding Ceremony.
The venue is set, the guests have arrived and the groom waits nervously for the proceedings to get started.
A familiar situation and an easy one for me as I’m an observer and the one standing at the front waiting for my bride to arrive.
I always love to see these moments and how the best man keeps the groom occupied and either help settle the groom’s nerves or wind him up.
The moment the bridesmaids start to come down the aisle the groom physically changes as he realised the moment is finally here.
I love the mixture of nerves, excitement and anticipation at the moment he knows his bride has stated walking towards him.
It was a lovely relaxed and personal wedding service.
Post-Wedding.
After the wedding ceremony, I settled into the normal candid photographs of the wedding guests and we took advantage of the break in the weather to get the formal group pictures done.
I always like to get through these as quick as possible.
They are important and the couple will want these but they should disrupt the day too much.
The quicker they are ticked off the sooner the wedding guests and couple can get on with enjoying their day.
I had a little more time to get more candid shots of the guests and the room had been turned around ready for the wedding reception and wedding breakfast.
