Another beautiful wedding featured on confetti.co.uk, see the article here ➢

We featured Precious’s bridal shower/kitchen party a few months ago, Last Saturday we were the wedding photographers at her wedding to Jerald. The wedding day started at Garstang Golf club.

Hiring Bryan was one of the best decisions we made.

Many of our guests commented on how lovely he was & since seeing the photographs he has been booked by a few of them.

Garstang Golf Club Wedding Morning.

I started with the bride and her bridesmaids while Lloyd joined the groom and his groomsmen.

Precious and her bridesmaids were pretty chilled and enjoying the day, hair and makeup were well on the way when I got there and Heather the wedding videographer was already set up and filming. Their dresses and shoes were laid out so I started with them then the girls.

The light in the room was perfect and the girls were beautiful so I snapped away and was delighted with the results.

Later at St Peter’s church, I joined Lloyd who’d travelled with the guys, Jerald looked nervous and excited but was getting plenty of support, distraction and a little nerve settler (from a hip flask) from his best men.

Once everybody was settled in the church the bride and bridesmaids gathered outside, Precious looked stunning as she entered the church and Jerald managed to keep looking forward as his bride walked down the aisle towards him.

The wedding service was lovely and rev. Ron kept it light and personal. After the wedding service, Lloyd checked if the rain had gone off but unfortunately it hadn’t so we took some of the group photographs in the church before heading back to the hotel for the wedding reception.

The majority of the wedding guests were taken from the church back to The Garstang Golf club hotel on a double-decker bus.

We arrived back at the hotel before the wedding guests and I left  Lloyd to photograph the guests arriving while I photographed the room where the wedding breakfast would be held.

By the time I had finished the rain had gone off so we gathered the guests for the full group shot and a few more groups on the grounds before the guests settled down to the wedding breakfast.

The bridal party were announced and led in by a procession of the bridesmaids dancing followed by the newlyweds dancing in behind them.

The speeches followed the starter and as always the groom was in for a little bit of ribbing but all in good fun. we photographed the wedding speeches and captured some good reactions from the couple before everybody settled down to eat giving us a chance to catch our breath and have a quick bite to eat.

Once the wedding breakfast was over the sun was out and the light was ideal to get some more photographs, the couple had requested a few specific and quirky shots starting in the bar then moving out onto the golf course.

We mingled and set up for the first dance photographs for a while as the room was turned around ready for the evening wedding guests to arrive. Before the wedding cake was cut there was a ceremonial knife dance being led by the bride, followed by her bridesmaids and the knife bearer.

The couple were quickly joined by their guests during the first dance and this again made for some great photographs.

As the wedding photographers, we had a fantastic day.
